LEWISTON — An Auburn woman was charged early Monday morning with escape after exiting out the fire escape of a Lewiston apartment instead of out the front door with the police officers waiting for her.

Fallon Marie Delorenzo, 27, of 257 Turner St., was arrested at 2:12 a.m. Monday at 29 Sabattus St. She was charged with a warrant, disorderly conduct and escape.

Lewiston police report that officers were called to the third-floor Sabattus Street apartment on a noise complaint. There they found Fallon and another individual. It was discovered that Fallon had a warrant for her arrest and officers informed her she needed to get some clothes because she was being transported to Androscoggin County Jail. Instead, Fallon left out the fire escape of the building and officers found her down below.
