Oxford police officer James Richardson helps herd about 10 cows off Mechanic Falls Road on Thursday morning. According to Chief Jonathan Tibbetts, the department got a call about cows on Route 121 just after 10:30 a.m. Richardson and several motorists herded the cows out of the road. Tibbetts said owner David Martin of French Road got his cows back shortly after.
