RUMFORD — Emotions through the chakra system will be a Dempsey Center presentation on Wednesday, Aug. 22.

Rhonda McCarthy Ouelette will talk about the chakra system, what it is, how it works and what it consists of. “What my desire for you is that healing from your deepest wounds within are released and light, love, joy and empowerment of self is embraced, so that each of your days you may find contentment no matter what you are going through,” said Ouelette.

She will talk about which emotions are held in each chakra, how to release negative emotions and how to visualize one’s own chakras.

Ouelette is the owner of Earth Spirit Healing Center, Mexico. She has been a registered counselor of soul coaching for the past 17 years, working with people in one-on-one and group settings.

This program is one of the monthly sessions sponsored by the Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing and Rumford Hospital. It will be held in the hospital’s Conference Room C on the second floor. The program is free and open to the public.
