Residents of Maine House District 8 have the opportunity in November to elect Bettyann Sheats as their representative in Augusta. They should jump at the chance.

Sheats’ life of service to her country and her community began with her graduation from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and her seven years of experience in the military, and continues with her commitment to her children’s school, her church, her family and her community at large.

As a small business owner, she understands the challenges small business owners face, and will be an effective, tireless advocate for them, as well as a champion of promising start ups.

Her strong work ethic, guided by her commitment to working with integrity and honesty for the people of Maine, make her a smart choice in November.

She’s eager to serve, and Auburn voters would be wise to give her that opportunity.
