A man was transported to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with multiple injuries after a truck crashed on Route 11 in Mechanic Falls on Monday morning. Matt Fifield, deputy fire chief of the Mechanic Falls Fire Rescue, said the crash occurred about 8:30 a.m. The man, who was not identified, had to be extricated from the wreckage. Firefighters from Mechanic Falls were assisted by Poland Fire Rescue. No other details were available about the crash, which remained under investigation Monday night.
