My wife and I had lunch at the Chick-a-dee Saturday afternoon, Aug. 11, and I happened to forget my wallet.

After arranging to pay our meal with my debit card when I got home, we went straight home and I called back.

To my surprise the waitress said that someone overheard us and, after we left, offered to pay our bill.

I would love to repay and thank the person who did this. I always knew there were many good people out there, this is but one more!

My wife and I thank you whomever you are and have a great week.
