AUBURN — Tech. Sgt. Blue Leaf Miller is a new U.S. Air Force recruiter at the recruiting office at 730 Center St.

Miller joined the Air Force on June 1999 in Denver, Colo., and has served in Germany, Japan and in Spokane, Wash., where she most recently provided logistical support for the Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape training school.

Twice sent to Iraq, she provided material management support in Balad Air Base in 2006 and returned in 2009 as a database manager, facilitating strategic visibility for Army Material Command in direct support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During these deployments she volunteered her spare time at the base hospital to help transport wounded soldiers and civilians.

She is the youngest and only daughter of Eugene and White Feather Miller. She has two older brothers, one in the U.S. Navy and another who served in the U.S. Navy and has since joined the Air Force Reserve.
