AUBURN — Anita G. Bolduc, 88, of Auburn, passed away at her home on Wednesday, Aug. 15.

She was born in Canada, Oct. 28, 1923, the daughter of Archille and Albina Pelletier. She came to Maine at a very young age and lived her whole life in the Lewiston-Auburn area, where she attended local schools. On June 2, 1945, she married the love of her life, Amedee Bolduc, and together they worked and raised their young family of seven children. Her husband passed away in 2001.

She was a loving homemaker to her husband and children. She had a great love for the Lord and she attended the East Auburn Baptist Church enjoying her small group Bible study.

Anita also enjoyed taking trips to the coast, especially Boothbay Harbor, and spending time with family. In her 50s, both she and her husband took up painting for which she developed a unique talent.

Anita is survived by her seven children, Michel Bolduc and his wife, Linda, of Lewiston, Sylvia Glazier of Auburn, Paul Bolduc of Florida, Paula Hicks and her husband, Dan, of Virginia, David Bolduc of Lewiston, John Bolduc and his fiancee, Debby, of Florida, and Donna Parkins and her husband, Donald, of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Amedee; her sister, Yolande Fontaine; her son-in-law, Carl Glazier; and her daughter-in-law, Wendy Bolduc.
