LISBON — Doris D. Dargie, 59, of Lisbon, died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, Aug. 14.

She was born in Lewiston, a daughter of the late Honore’ N. Dargie & Juliette S. (Caron) Dargie of Auburn. She attended local area schools and graduated from Edward Little High School.

She worked as a manufacturer for Cooper Industries. Doris enjoyed using the computer and using social networking as a means to keep in touch with family and friends. She was also very fond of cats and loved spending time with family, especially her mother.

She is survived by her two brothers, Raymond Dargie and his wife, Shirley of Oxford and Roger Dargie and his companion, Valerie Ritchie of Poland; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also the aunt of the late Eric Dargie, who died in 2004.
