AUBURN — Wilfred Doustou, 83, of 488 Pond Road, Lewiston, died Friday, Aug. 17, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin. following a brief illness.

He was born in Les Etroits, PQ Canada, Jan. 20, 1929, the son of Onesime and Sara Soucy Doustou.

He was a construction worker for most of his life, retiring 18 years ago. Wilfred was a member of many clubs in the Lewiston/Auburn area, including South End Club, Lewiston Social Club, Midtown Club and L & A Working Mens Club. He liked to dance and gamble.

He is survived by his brother Raymond (Blackie) Doustou of Lewiston; a sister, Rose Doustou of Va.; one daughter, Karen Dewitt and one son, Kevin Doustou, both of Biddeford; several nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents; and several brothers and sisters; and two wives, Arlene and Therese.
