AUBURN — Cynthia A. Thibodeau, 55, of 49 Gayton Road, Lewiston, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, after a courageous battle with ALS, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Cynthia Ann Poole in Anderson, S.C., on Sept. 25, 1956, the daughter of William Vernon Poole and Dorothy Anna Poole. Cindy married the love of her life, David Thibodeau, Nov. 18, 1977. Together they built their own business, where she worked as its bookkeeper. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and the outdoors, but more than anything loved spending time with her family and dogs, Kansas and Scruffy.

She is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Ashley of Gorham, son, Ryan of Lewiston; her mother, Dorothy of Greene; two sisters, Kay Turner of South Carolina, Sue Roy and husband, Jim of Greene; and mother-in-law, Irene Thibodeau of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her father, William Vernon Poole; father-in-law, Roger Thibodeau; and brother-in-law, Ben Turner.
