PARIS — Meet the Altos. It’s Tony Alto’s funeral (or is it?) and his wife, Toffee, has invited you to the wake. Chris wants you should check your weapons at the door (and if you don’t have any, he has extras.)

Tony’s analyst, Dr. Malaise, is giving free treatments and Father Flip has no idea what he’s doing. No one seems sad that Tony is gone and they certainly don’t seem happy once he’s discovered alive.

That’s the gist of “The Altos,” Oxford Hills Music and Performing Arts Association’s  interactive musical comedy mystery spoof of the famous HBO series, (like the Sopranos, only lower).

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 7-8, at the First Congregational Church on East Main Street, South Paris. Tickets, $20, are now on sale. They must be purchased at Books N Things before 3 p.m. the day of show. There will be no “at the door” holds or purchases. Price includes the show and a four-course lasagna dinner prepared by the women and men of the church (vegetarian lasagna will also be available.)
