PORTLAND — Devin Flynn smacked a line drive in the bottom of the 12th inning to plate Alex Parker with the winning run as Yankee Ford edged Lenders 7-6 in the Twilight League championship game on Sunday at Deering Oaks.

Lenders jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning on a pair of home runs, one each from Todd Keneborus and John Carey, but Yankee pitching shut them down from there, allowing only two more runs on five hits over the next 11 innings.

Andrew Stacey earned the win on the mound for Yankee Ford, while Troy Thibodeau took the loss for Lenders.

The win in the title game is the third in a row for the Yankee Ford franchise, previously known as Mainely Mobile.
