PORTLAND — Antoinette L. LaChance of New Gloucester, also known as Toni, was promoted to Glory on Aug. 20.

She was born March 16, 1938, the daughter of Arthur and Wilhelmina Chapman of Newburgh.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Lachance of New Gloucester; son, David Baker of Florida; daughter, Laurel Reed, wife of Frank Reed of Dresden; daughter, Kimberly Farrell, husband, John Farrell, of Yarmouth; three stepsons, Matt, Shawn and Justin Lachance, all of the Lewiston-Auburn area; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Anne and Jeanette.

She was predeceased by her beloved son, Richard L. Baker in 1970; and siblings, John, Calvin, Robert and Ruth.
