LEWISTON — Irene Cloutier, 92, of Lewiston, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, at Marshwood Center.

She was born in Daigle, May 1, 1920, daughter of the late Levite and Philomene Roy Madore. She was married to Joseph “George” Cloutier and prior to her retirement was employed as a fancy stitcher at Falcon Shoe. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph of Lewiston; a son, Richard Corriveau of Sumner; two grandchildren, Richard and Brian Corriveau; three great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Helene Lapointe, Elise Hamel and Claudette Martel and husband, Gerry; a brother-in-law, Noel Cloutier and wife, Yuri; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Leona Thibeault, Alphena Raymond and Alberta Ayotte; and two brothers, Albert and Alcime Madore.
