LEWISTON — The Boston-based Tumbleweed Company will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at She Doesn’t Like Guthries.

The five-piece group delivers a sound that combines the comfort of the South with the adventure of the West, while maintaining members’ Northeastern roots planted at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Mixing folk and blues, Tumbleweed Company is known for its soulful sounds and three-part harmonies that ring over an orchestra of unique instruments.
