LISBON — Beverly Louise Stetson “Nana Birdie,” 74, of Lisbon, left this Earth to be in heaven on Aug. 22, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She passed away in her home, with her family by her side.

She was born Jan. 1, 1938, in Lewiston, to the late Gerald C. Jordan and Mary Margaret (Terrio) Jordan. She loved playing cards and spending time with her family. She faced many health problems during her life, but she was determined and made the best of everything. She never gave up. Her warm smile and loving soul will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son, George Stetson and girlfriend, Lorry, of Lisbon; two daughters, Wanda Morissette of Auburn and Diana Grimmel of Sabattus; her sister, Lee Gaboriault and husband, Tom, of Florida; brother, Charles Jordan and wife, Mary, of Lewiston; sister-in-law, Marilyn Jordan of Buckfield; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her longtime friend, Donald Bickford, of Augusta.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Sheila Westland; and brother, Gerald Jordan.
