I’m writing to express my support for Larry Sirois in the upcoming House District 96 election (Minot, Hebron and Turner). Sirois is a common-sense, hard-working, effective advocate. He does not put special interests first.

His opponent in this election, Jeff Timberlake, is a commercial farmer. Timberlake has sponsored legislation to ensure that commercial farmers have to notify neighbors only if they are applying poison by airplane within 100 feet of their property. The current law is requires notification to owners within 1,320 feet of the property being sprayed.

Imagine if your kids were out playing when one of those planes came by.

Timberlake has also consistently voted with the Tea Party extremists. He has voted to limit reproductive freedom and to limit voting rights.

We need someone who can represent everyone in District 96, and Larry Sirois is the fellow to do it.
