AUBURN — Joyce Aliberti, 80, of Poland died Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Hospice House.

She was born in Cranford, N.J., April 17, 1932, the daughter of Thomas Kenney Sr. and Marion Maloney Kenney. She had worked at W. T. Grant during and after high school and at Western Electric for a short time.

She married Lt. Col. Leo W. Aliberti, U.S. Army, and had been a homemaker for the rest of her life. She traveled and lived all over Europe during her husband’s military career and raised parakeets.

She is survived by three cousins and their families, all of New Jersey, Barry Maloney, Bruce Maloney and Kevin Maloney; as well as many dear friends locally.
