LEWISTON — Lorette M. Pelletier, 70, of Lewiston, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, with her daughter by her side.
She was born in Springhill, P.Q., Canada, Dec. 21, 1941, daughter of the late Alphonse and Rose Laprise Mercier. Lorette was married May 7, 1960, to Roland C. Pelletier for 51 years, prior to his passing Feb. 3, 2011. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a stitching room supervisor at Falcon Shoe Co.
Lorette enjoyed feeding the birds, making word-search puzzles and sketching, but her favorite enjoyment was caring for her dog, Daisy.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda M. Poulin and husband, Michael L., of Sabattus; a grandson, Tony Gagne and companion, Makaela Keene, of Lewiston; two great-grandchildren, Ava and Abbrielle Gagne of Lewiston; three sisters, Madeleine Poulin and husband, Marc, of Lewiston, Denise Poulin and husband, Marcel, of Lewiston and Lucille Woodland and husband, Dennis, of Florida; two brothers, Marcel Mercier and wife, Theresa, of Florida, and Raymond Mercier and companion, Linda Soucier, of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
