LEWISTON —  The Androscoggin County Republicans will present the “Making of America” seminar, a four-part series, starting Thursday, Sept. 6.

It will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Androscoggin County Republicans Election Headquarters, 806 Sabattus St.

The series is an exploration — from 1400 BC to 1787 AD — which Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin and George Washington, and others before them, made in order to rediscover the key to the creation of the first free nation in modern times.

The “Making of America” is a look at the political and economic principles of the Founding Fathers, from the preamble through amendments to the Constitution.

Cost to attend the four-part seminar is $15 per person, payable in advance or at the door. Each participant will receive a 56-page seminar guide.
