RANGELEY — The next Ladies/Community Breakfast with everyone invited to attend will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Country Club Inn, Country Club Road off Mingo Loop Road.

College planning workshop

WILTON — The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will host a free workshop, “Essentials of College Planning,” for adults ages 19 and up at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Wilton Career Center, 865 U.S. Route 2E.

The starting point for all MEOC participants this free interactive workshop that outlines the four steps in the college process: admissions, financial aid, career planning and study skills.

The workshop lasts approximately two to three hours. Preregistration is required.

All MEOC services are free and include GED/SAT preparation, college planning, referrals/advocacy, career advising, financial aid advising, college admissions process and application fee waivers for qualified adults.
