DIXFIELD — Candance J. Hines, 66, died Monday, Aug. 27, at her home.
She was born in Natick, Mass., Aug. 22, 1946, the daughter of George and Lois J. Rhodes Evans. She graduated from Monmouth Academy and attended Bliss College from 1963 to 1965.
She had been employed at Central Maine Medical Center as a medical secretary. She loved her grandchildren very much. She also loved animals and living in farm country.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Hines of Sumner; two sons, Charles Andrew Hines and Nathan Zachary Hines, both of East Dixfield; grandchildren, Will Stuart Hines and Ella Jayne Hines; a brother, George Thomas Evans of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Nancy Evans of Albuquerque, N.M., and Sarah Sullivan of Texas; many nieces and nephews; and two close friends, Sue Levasseur and Miriam Wheeler.
