The band won the RJL Memorial Battle of the Bands at the Barnstable County Fair in Falmouth, Mass., this summer and will play the New England Music Awards in April 2013. Last year, the rock band performed its original song, “Escape,” at SchoolJam USA in Anaheim, Calif., at the NAMM show, one of the largest music product trade shows in the world. Prouty received NAMM’s best vocals in the USA distinction; her drummer, Cam Pelkey, received best drums; and the band came in second among competing groups across the United States. The band will also play on Sunday, Oct. 7, at the Fryeburg Fair.
