EXETER, N.H. — Cynthia Srebnick, 71, died suddenly Sept. 2, at the Exeter Hospital.

She was born Aug. 9, 1941, in Lewiston, the daughter of the late William Huston Jr. and Madeleine (Blom) Huston.

Cynthia grew up in Auburn and was educated at Endicott College and the University of Maine. She was formerly employed as a stewardess for Northeast Airlines, where she first met her husband, Robert L. Srebnick, who was an airline pilot. She was also formerly employed as a school teacher in Chelsea, Mass.

A resident of Exeter, N.H., for the last 44 years, Cynthia enjoyed traveling and spent the winters in Ft. Meyers, Fla. She was very active in charitable affairs. She helped raise money for the March of Dimes and was instrumental in the founding of the Delta Pilots Wives Club.

She is survived by two sons, Vincent E. Srebnick of Shapleigh and Michael R. Srebnick of Phoenix, Ariz.; her daughter, Holly M. Lawson of Barrington, N.H.; two grandchildren, Collin and Nyles Lawson; her brother, William R. Huston III of Cape Elizabeth; and her niece, Zandra Zuraw of Natick, Mass.

Cynthia was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Srebnick, Oct. 12, 1988.
