LEWISTON — Doris T. Kidder, 87, a resident of the Crowley Road, Lewiston, died Sunday, Sept. 2, at Central Maine Medical Center, following complications from a stroke.
She was born in South Paris, June 22, 1925, the daughter of Lewis and Thelma (Page) Button. She was employed as a secretary for the former Burgess and Leith stock firm in Lewiston.
She was a member of the South Lewiston Baptist Church and was also a member and former officer of the Lewiston Grange.
Doris was an avid camper who was also a great cook who loved her family and she’ll be sadly missed by all.
Survivors include two sons, David of Casco and his wife, Rachel, of Lewiston and Donald and his wife, Deborah, of Ashland; one brother, Raymond Button and wife, Rachel, of New Concord, Ohio; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ira, Aug. 18, 2000.
