Lewiston is blessed to have an individual with a financial background running for House District 72 — Michael Marcotte.

The current group of Lewiston representatives believe that the solution to problems is big government. The reality is that the state bureaucracy has failed the citizens of this city. Folks who truly need help are being neglected and taxpayers are being drained as their money goes into the black hole known as Augusta.

Lewiston needs to have a voice in the Legislature who will stand up for us and stop enabling a broken system. Michael Marcotte gets it.

When he wins in November, we will finally have a representative who understands that taxpayers’ hard-earned money needs to be spent efficiently.

We’ll finally have someone who will make government work for us instead of against us.

God bless him for having the guts and courage to lead the way for reforms.
