When voting time comes around, as it hopefully always will, listen carefully and observe the candidates’ actions. Ask yourself, “Where do they stand on important issues?” “Does the candidate voice concern for important issues and display actions to support such issues?” “Is the candidate going to pass the litmus test for a reality check and balance?” “Will the candidate display honesty and integrity in representing me and other citizens/constituents?”

The office being sought deserves these attributes in those seeking to represent us.

I find that Wayne Wertz passes the test with flying colors. I want a person from District 70 in the Legislature who represents the citizens who place him there. He is a hard-worker, straight-talker and has excellent listening skills.

I find him to be an individual whose words match his actions. That is why I will vote for Wayne Wertz on Nov. 6. His vote has been earned.
