LEWISTON — On Saturday, Sept. 8, the 21st annual Golden Reunion will be held at the Ramada Inn. This all-class reunion gathers classmates from the former Lisbon Falls High School and the present Lisbon High School. The Golden Reunion welcomes any former students of the two schools who attended beginning with the 50-year ago class of 1962, and all other classes before that year. Last year, nearly 200 classmates attended to reminisce and reconnect with friends.

The event begins with registration and social hour at 11 a.m., with a buffet lunch served at noon. Following the luncheon, all classes will be recognized, with special attention paid to the classes of ’42, ’47, ’52, ’57, as well as those attending for the first time from the class of 1962.

The Golden Reunion Scholarship recipient for the year will be announced, and the scholarship committee will report on progress toward meeting the scholarship fund goal. The afternoon will conclude with a program by Maine author, humorist and story-teller John MacDonald.

Organizing the reunion is Donna Kroken, and the chair of the Scholarship Committee is Judith Kamen. Reservations and scholarship contributions can be made with Donna Kroken, 353-8989.
