WEST PARIS – Worship services at The First Universalist Church of West Paris begin in September and continue every Sunday until June. Services are presented with a combination of Worship Service Committee members and guest speakers. All are welcome. Services at 9 a.m. are followed by refreshments.
Sept. 9: This first Sunday service begins with a Water Communion. Those attending are invited to bring a sampling of water or symbolic water which has special meaning; the service will focus on “Water, a fundamental building block of life” with a brief presentation on the evolution of the Androscoggin River.
Sept. 16: “The Wisdom of Listening with the Heart,” led by returning guest speaker The Rev. Sarah Shepley.
Sept. 23: “Coming Home,” led by the returning Cindy Reedy.
Sept. 30: “Acting Like Adults,” led by The Rev. Dr. Robert C. Sallies.
