RUMFORD — A funeral honoring the life of Lisa G. “Oma” Kreckel was held at Wednesday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Alfred Jacques officiated. Bernard Poirier was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were Schubert’s “Ave Maria,” “Lord of the Dance,” “Pie Jesu” and “On Eagles Wings.” The Old Testament was presented by her granddaughter, Deidre Kreckel Lewis. The New Testament was presented by her granddaughter, Lisa Kreckel. Personal reflections were shared by her son, Dr. Dieter Kreckel. Bearers were Dr. Dieter Kreckel, Gerd Kreckel, Jeffrey Kreckel, Michael Kreckel, Rodney Kuhl and Dr. Said Daoud. A reception followed at Brian’s Bistro. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
