HARRISON — The Western Maine Fish and Game Club of Harrison is holding a Hunter Safety Course on Saturday and Sunday, September 15 – 16 at the Harrison Fire Station Community Room. Registration is three dollars for the course and begins at 7:30am on Saturday, Sept. 15th. The course will run from 8:00am to 4:00pm both days. This course is open to anyone 10 years of age or older. Children between 10-12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Students under 18 years old must have parent or guardian sign registration form. You must attend both days in order to receive a certificate of completion which is required for a Maine hunting license. Students are not permitted to bring any firearms, ammunition or knives to the class. For more information, contact Chuck at 583-6283 or Jody at 595-2211.
