TURNER — A new season of fall classes gets underway the week of Sept. 17 for MSAD 52 Adult & Community Education. Register online at msad52.maineadulted.org. Register early; classes fill up fast. Call the Adult Ed office at 225-1010 with questions.

Beginner golf: A fun introduction to golf with four clinics covering the short game, long game, golf rules and course etiquette. Bring your own clubs.

Intermediate golf: Learn advanced techniques of the short and long games to help improve performance. These are private lessons, for individuals or small groups, 1/2 hour in length for four weeks. Bring your own clubs.

French for beginners: The first steps to learn to converse in French.

Dog obedience: Have a nice, courteous dog by learning how to correct behavior problems. A non-chain leash and a well-fitting collar are required and rabies shots must be current.

Body boot camp: This six-week progressive course includes cardio, strength and conditioning exercises. The intensity ramps up each week with easy to learn exercises that can also be done at home. Bring a six- to eight-pound medicine ball or three-pound dumbbell weights.

Backyard herbalist: Familiarize yourself with a dozen local herbs that grow wild and can be cultivated. Learn the medicinal value of each herb and participate in making two herbal products that can be taken home.

Zumba: Burn calories and dance into shape. This class is easy to follow and fun. Modifications will be provided so each person can work at their own pace.

Zumba Toning: This 45-minute class combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Toning sticks enhance rhythm and tone all the target zones.

Zumba GOLD: This class is designed for the active, older person, someone who has not exercised in a long time or someone who may be limited physically. Gold is done at a much lower intensity but still utilizes the same Latin styles of music and dance.

Spanish: Learn a new culture, new friends and new information.

Hooping to heal: Learn the basics and the health benefits of hula hooping and how it heals the mind, body and soul.

Middle Eastern dance: Experience this ancient art form in a welcoming environment.

Intro to one stroke painting: Learn the fundamentals of decorative painting on a variety of projects. All materials supplied, except for the final piece.

How money works: Learn what wealthy people know and are not sharing. Avoid the most common mistakes that people make with money and receive a guide to build financial health.
