FAIRFIELD — One week after defeating Mt. Ararat for the fourth consecutive year, Oxford Hills paid a visit to the other end of the Eastern Class A football spectrum Friday night.

The results were just as convincing in the other direction.

Pine Tree Conference champion Lawrence rattled off a series of big plays and cruised to a 48-6 victory at Keyes Field.

Anthony Sementelli’s 44-yard run, Spencer Carey’s 54-yard ramble and a 23-yard rush by Jake Doolan staked the Bulldogs to a 19-0 lead after one quarter.

Lawrence (3-0) tackled Nick Bowie in the end zone for a safety early in the second quarter.

Josh Doolan’s 56-yard punt return made it 28-0 at the half.

And the hits kept coming. Jake Doolan’s second score of the night was a 72-yard reception from Carey.

Sementelli scored another touchdown, this time a 3-yard dive.

C.J. Martin finally got the Vikings (1-2) on the board with a 10-yard run in the fourth. Ethan Powers answered with Lawrence’s final touchdown.

Jake Doolan finished with 143 all-purpose yards. Carey added 77 yards on just three carries, and Sementelli lugged the ball 13 times for 74 yards.

Martin had 48 yards off the bench for the Vikings, who were hurt by a pair of turnovers.
