LEWISTON — Jim and Diane Whalen of Lewiston are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison D. Whalen, to Nicholas R. Roberge, son of Roger and Lorraine Roberge of Lewiston.

Ms. Whalen is a 2005 graduate of Lewiston High School. She graduated from Capilo Institute in 2007 as a licensed cosmetologist. She is currently employed as a manager/head stylist at Tagli Hair and Nail Salon in Lewiston.

Mr. Roberge is a 2005 graduate of Lewiston High School. He graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2006 with a degree in automotive technology and Central Maine Community College in 2007 with an associate degree in automotive technology. He is currently employed as an automotive technician at Charlie’s Auto Mall in Augusta.

A winter wedding is planned for Jan. 26 at Holy Family Church in Lewiston, with a reception to follow at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn.
