A Page C1 column published  Sunday, Sept. 16, contained incorrect information about a television ad by the campaign of  Republican U.S. Senate candidate and Secretary of State Charlie Summers. The column should have stated Summers is a U.S. veteran, served the state of Maine as secretary of state and has worked to decrease highway accidents and fatalities in Maine. The information was incorrectly reported by the Sun Journal.
