The choice is clear for voters in New Gloucester, Durham and Lisbon this fall. Nichole Stevens will work collaboratively in the Legislature to create jobs, support local schools, fight for high-quality, affordable health care and protect the environment of Maine.

Stevens is a professional woman who has worked in the business world for many years. She is a Big Sister volunteer, a member of the New Gloucester Economic Development Committee and a small business owner. Her strong work ethic and can-do attitude will be real assets in Augusta.

A vote for the Republican in this race is a vote for the tea party and its extreme right-wing ideology that neglects the shared responsibilities as a civilized, democratic society.
