AUBURN — The monthly meeting of the Auburn Democratic City Committee will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Auburn Hall.

Jim Lysen of the Maine People’s Alliance will discuss the “Fair Share Economy,” a new concept of tax policy, and show a short video. And Clint Deschene, the new Auburn city manager, will introduce himself and discuss his vision for the direction of the city. Local candidates will also be present.

Parking is available in the garage. Attendees are encouraged to use the courtyard entrance and take the elevator to the second floor.

All Auburn Democrats are urged to attend the city committee meetings, which take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Refreshments are served and visitors are welcome. Bringing a nonperishable food item for the pantry at the Trinity Jubilee Center is encouraged. For questions, call 777-3125.
