I am a student at Walton Elementary School. Every year at Christmas time, I bring the teachers a present. I always remember to bring something to the cafeteria ladies, too. I do it because they are nice and they cook everything for the school. They know my name and they smile all the time.
One of the cafeteria ladies at the middle school is my friend. She makes the best chicken soup in the world. When I am sick, she makes soup, so I feel better. It makes me sad that when she is sick, the school doesn’t help her pay to see a doctor by giving her health insurance.
I don’t think it’s fair.
I hope people on the school board will change their minds.
