JAY – The Spruce Mountain Area Robotics Team won the Mainely Spirit Robot competition at Messalonskee High School on Saturday.

The team finished in first place along with team 58 from South Portland, mentor Dan Lemieux said in a release.

The team also won for crowd cheer. The build team, drive team and spirit team worked together to bring home two trophies, he said.
