PARIS — A Peru man was charged Friday with sexually assaulting two young girls in 2009.
Robert F. Skeffington, 65, of 38 Packard Road, was arrested Friday by Deputy Tom Harriman of the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office. Skeffington was released on $1,000 cash bail Monday afternoon.
According to a report by Harriman, the girls were abused in 2009 when both were under 12 years old. Their parents reported it to police after they learned about it.
Skeffington’s arraignment is set for Nov. 6 in Oxford County Superior Court.
