JAY — A local woman was injured Monday night after her vehicle went off Lomie Rivers Road and rolled over, Sgt. Troy Young said.
The accident occurred just before 6 p.m.
Melissa Helms, 26, of Jay was taken by a NorthStar Emergency Medical Services ambulance to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. Her injuries were non-life threatening, Young said.
Helms’ vehicle went off the road, she overcorrected and it went off the road again, rolled over and landed on its wheels.
Northside Auto Towing and Recovery towed it from the scene, he said.
Jay Fire Rescue Department assisted Young at the scene.
