Worship service Sept. 30
PARIS — Silver Moore-Leamon will lead the worship service at the First Universalist Church on Pine Street on Sept. 30. The title of Moore-Leamon’s 10 a.m. sermon is “A Different People.” Music is under the direction of Donna Hurd and Sunday School is under the direction of Renee Wales. Coffee and fellowship will follow the worship service. All are welcome and childcare is available.
Fish & Game trap shoot
OXFORD — The Lake Thompson Fish and Game Club will hold a Running Deer and Trap Shoot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at the club range on Paine Road.
The cost is 50 cents per shot for running deer and $1.50 per five shots for trap shoot, 50 cents of which goes towards the cost of clay pigeons.
Event winners will receive half of the pot. Refreshments will be on sale. The public is invited.

Adult ed. enrichment classes
PARIS — Oxford Hills/Buckfield Adult Education is now taking registrations for the upcoming enrichment classes.
Monday, Oct. 1: Connection Parenting with Sarah Shepley, 6:30 to 8 p.m. $35 plus a $15 book fee.
Tuesday, Oct. 2: Let’s Meditate with Maria Ham, 6 to 8 p.m. $5.
Wednesday, Oct. 3: Breathe In, Breathe Out with Chris and Paula Easton, 6 to 7:30 p.m. $20.
Thursday, Oct. 4: Pottery 101 with Scott Currie, 5:30 to 8 p.m. $50 plus cost of firing.

Nature Club foliage tour
PARIS — The Twin Town Nature Club will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, in the bowling alley parking lot to carpool on a foliage viewing tour to the Andover/Rangeley area.
Bring a picnic lunch. Visitors are welcome.
