Brunswick students on a school bus were off-loaded to another bus after a Wednesday accident, police said.
None of the students was injured, police said.
The bus was carrying athletes from Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary School in Brunswick to an athletic event when the crash occurred at about 3:25 p.m. at the intersection of McKeen Street and Baribeau Drive in Brunswick.
The bus collided with a pickup truck owned by Maine Natural Gas Corp. and driven by Jason Bowie, 41, of Durham, who was taken to Mid Coast Hospital for minor injuries. The bus driver, Eugene Gagne, 69, of Brunswick was not injured, police said.
The Brunswick School District sent a second bus to the crash site and loaded the students on it before it returned to the school, police said. The parents of the students were notified.
