LEWISTON — Robert H. Savard, 85, of Lewiston, went to be with his Lord on Sept. 26, in Lewiston.

Robert was born March 16, 1927, in Lewiston, to parents, Albert and Angelina Savard (Vierre). He attended St. Peter’s School in Lewiston, and was a member of Holy Family Parish. Robert was married to Connie Labbe, who has since passed. He worked at Hill Mill and shoe shops until retiring, and was in the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Robert enjoyed music and was a local musician for years. He was also a member of the ACME and Pastime clubs.

Robert is survived by his long-time companion, Marlene Gendreau; one brother, Don Savard; his daughter, Marlene Bisson; four grandsons, Ray, Ron, Dave and Travis Bisson; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents; and his wife, Connie Labbe.

The family wishes to thank Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, especially Becky as his nurse. They would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at CMMC for their care.
