HARTFORD — The Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center, 1190 Main St., resumed regular Sunday morning church services on Sept. 9 at 10:30 a.m. As they did last year, the center tries to offer at least one educational program each month. Mediumship Development classes are conducted on Fridays at 6:30 p.m. A $15 donation is suggested for all workshops. Upcoming events include the following.

Sunday, Oct. 7 at 12:30 p.m., Spiritual Healing with Kenneth Green. Green’s Mic Mac ancestry brings the Native American healing spirit into his work. He also teaches making turtle shell rattles and drums. Along with his wife, Laura Lee Perkins, they have recorded several CDs of traditional Native American music.

In this workshop, participants will explore aspects of spiritual healing. Important components necessary for healing include preparation, receptivity, expectations, follow-through, contact healing, absent healing and trust.

Saturday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mediums’ Day Fair. Mediums will be available to give 15 minute readings for $15. Spiritualist healers will also be available for any who wish to receive healing through the laying on of hands. Sunday, Nov. 4, at 12:30 p.m., Musical Mediumship with Eddita Felt. Felt is a psychic medium, a paranormal investigator and president of Frontiers of the Mind, a group of similar minded people who meet to discover new ways to expand their minds. Are you a potential musical medium? What is musical mediumship? How does it work? What is it used for? This introduction will answer these questions and others.
