Maine needs a strong advocate for early childhood education in the House of Representatives in Augusta, a person who understands the budget allocations, as well as the developmental knowledge of that age group.
Early childhood educators want to be included in the policy making. They are the ones who best know that young children learn through activity, through direct play and hands-on experience, which promotes creativity and thinking skills.
The person best qualified to advocate for early childhood educators is Nichole Stevens, candidate for Maine House of Representative, District 105.
