BETHEL – Funeral services for Jerry A. Greenwell were conducted Monday afternoon at the West Parish Congregational Church, Bethel, with the Rev. Virginia “Ginger” Rickeman officiating. Pianist was Ross Swain and ushers were deacons, Steve Lovejoy and Ted Davis. Music selection was “Eternal Father, Strong to Save.” Special music “The Wind Beneath My Wings” was sung by guitarists, Jewel Clark and Donnie Katlin. A reading was giving by brother-in-law, Jack Brooks and reflections were given by Harry Faulkner and Ron Sailor. Words of remembrance were given by friend, Robert McCartney. Bearers were Robert McCartney, Ron Sailor, Paul L’Heureux, Tom Naragon, Herman Wright and John Amann. Committal services were conducted by Rev. Virginia “Ginger” Rickeman. Interment was at the Riverside Cemetery, Bethel, with full military honors  provided by the U.S. Navy from Connecticut, the Maine Military Funeral Honors program from Augusta, for firing squad and color and honor guard from Mundt-Allen American Legion Post #81, from Bethel, which included post commander, Robert Everett, Don Feeney, Richard Farren, Arthur Joe Taylor  and Norman Clanton. A reception followed the services at the Mundt-Allen American Legion Post # 81 in Bethel. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
