BOWDOINHAM — Lorraine (Rainey) Irons, formerly of Cherry Hill, N.J., passed away Sept. 24, with family by her side, in Bowdoinham.
She was a past member and officer of the Gardiner Elks Lodge. Lorraine and her husband raised their children in Cherry Hill, before moving to Maine in 1988. She was the beloved wife of Art Irons for 53 years.
She was the cherished mother of Debbie Ludwig (Don), Artie Irons (Krista), Tommy Irons, JoAnn Irons and Michael Irons; sister of Bill and Mae Steere and Arlene and Shirley Steere; and loving grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
