PORTLAND — Stanley R. Cordwell, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
He was born in Norway, on May 4, 1954, to James Cordwell Sr. and Arline Bubbier-Cordwell.
He attended school in the Oxford Hills area. He married Paula Gordon on Dec. 16, 1972, and they had two children, Stanley “Chris” Cordwell and Brandy Cordwell. Stanley worked for DA Wilson and Co. for 20 years. He resided with his fiance, Terry (PIE) Wilson since 1994. He LOVED the time spent with his children and grandchildren, and also had a love for the outdoors. He will be remembered for driving around in his red truck and being a jokester.
He is survived by his fiance, Terry Wilson; children Chris Cordwell and his wife, Sherri, Brandy Cordwell and her boyfriend, Greg Guster, Briana Brown and her husband, Nathan, Brett Wilson and his wife, Faith and Bryan and Brady Wilson; grandchildren, Chantel, Destiny, Alexander, Dawson, Bella, Wilson, Brenna, and Melissa; and great-grandson, Branden; sisters, Nancy, Sally and Constance; brother, Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, Jim and Mike Cordwell; a sister, Jean Pulkkinen; and a grandson, Keith Tedford.
